Cosmetic surgery clinics · Google Ads
Google Ads for plastic surgeons and cosmetic surgery clinics, on the searches for each procedure.
Plastic surgery advertising on Google starts with what patients type. We set up and manage Google Search campaigns for your clinic, in English and in Spanish, in an account that stays in your name. Starter costs $1,250.00 a month, after a $500.00 setup.

Google’s rules
What Google lets a clinic target
Google lists invasive medical procedures, cosmetic surgery included, in its Health sensitive interest category. Ads for them can use predefined Google audiences, but not advertiser-curated audiences.
Audiences for a clinic’s ads
- NOT ALLOWED
- Customer Match with your patient list, your data segments, lookalike segments and audience expansion
- ALLOWED
- In-market segments, affinity, life events, location targeting, and demographics with exceptions
- UNDER 18
- No personalized ads of any kind, predefined audiences included
So we build a clinic’s campaigns on Google Search, where the words someone types decide when the ad shows.

We track every form and WhatsApp tap on your site as a conversion in both Google Ads and GA4, and test each one before the ads go live.
The search terms report lists the searches that showed your ads, when enough people used them. The conversions show which of them led to an inquiry. Each week we keep searches that bring patients and add a negative keyword for those that won’t.
The ad text
Every claim waits for the surgeon’s OK
Google expects health ads, and the pages they lead to, to follow the law and industry standards. In Florida, that includes the Board of Medicine’s advertising rule.
Under that rule, an ad must name the physician conspicuously. An ad that mentions a specialty certification must also name the board that awarded it.
If the Board of Medicine has not approved that specialty board, the ad must also carry a statement in the same print size or volume. It reads: “The specialty recognition identified herein has been received from a private organization not affiliated with or recognized by the Florida Board of Medicine.”
The surgeon approves each claim before it runs.

Questions clinics ask about Google Ads
Can a clinic advertise cosmetic surgery on Google Ads?
Yes, within Google’s health rules. Cosmetic surgery falls in Google’s Health sensitive category, so ads can use predefined audiences but not lists or lookalikes the clinic builds. Google also expects ads and their pages to follow the law, and in Florida that includes naming the physician.
Can our ads follow people who visited our website?
No. Your data segments, the lists of people who visited your site, count among advertiser-curated audiences, and health ads can’t use them. Neither can Customer Match or lookalike segments. Predefined audiences such as in-market segments remain available, and a Search ad can still show to whoever types the procedure.
Do the ads have to name the surgeon?
In Florida, yes. The Board of Medicine treats an ad as misleading if it fails to name the physician conspicuously. An ad that mentions a specialty certification must also name the board that awarded it. The surgeon approves each claim before it runs.
How much does Google Ads management cost for a clinic?
The Starter plan is $1,250.00 a month, and the $500.00 setup is paid once, with the first month. You stay at least 3 months, then go month to month. Managing up to $5,000.00 of monthly ad spend is part of the fee; beyond that, we add 10% of the excess. Google bills the clicks to your card.
Do you run the ads in Spanish too?
Yes. Searches typed in Spanish land in a separate ad group, with its own ads in Spanish, so the cost and the inquiries of each language show apart. Our fee is the same for ads in Spanish or English. The weekly search terms reading covers both languages, and useless Spanish searches get blocked too.
Which procedures should patients find you for on Google?
Send us the searches your ads show for today, or the procedures you want to start with. We answer in English or Spanish.
